There are a number of attractions and tourist hotspots to be found in Koh Samui and more specifically Lamai.

Lamai Beach
You are visiting Koh Samui for the beaches, right? Well Lamai has the nicest beach on the island. Be sure not to miss out on the beautifulgolden sands and clear blue seas during your stay in Samui.

Hin Ta & Hin Yai (Grandmother & Grandfather Rocks).
A formation of two stones or rocks with one looking like an erect penis, the other looking like a vagina, hence their names. Located just a short distance from our Irish Pub, head southwards towards Hua Thanon on the ring-road. Here you will find a market with many souvenir stands, but most notable is the special candy which visitors can try for free and which is well worth a taste.

Muay Thai Kick Boxing
Muay Thai, being the national sport of Thailand is a very competetive and fast actioned sport. Lamai boasts some of the best Muay Thai Kickboxing in the whole of Thailand with fighters from around the world entertaining the crowds who enjoy the great sport.
Saturday nights also see the lady's getting invloved and you can see both men fighting as well as women competing against eachother on this jam-packed evening. Stop by for some genuinely good food and a pint or two and have a wander over to the Stadium just a few minutes walk away from our Irish pub. |

Namuang Waterfalls
10 Km south of Lamai, nature lovers will find Na Muang Falls. This area is accessible from the village of Ban Thurian via an unpaved road.
There are actually two waterfalls: Na Muang, which is 18 meters high and reachable by vehicle; and Na Muang Two, which is about 80 meters high, requiring a 30-minute walk to get to the top. The waterfalls are the most scenic on the island and a great place to have a picnic. |

Mummified Monk
The body of Samui's most famous mummified monk, Loung Pordaeng, is on display here in a specially constructed building. When he died more than 20 years ago, he was sitting in a meditation position. He is still in that same position and his body shows few signs of any major decay Wat Khunaram is on the 4169 ringroad between the Na Muang waterfalls and Hua Thanon. |

Elephant Trekking
Did you ever want to ride an elephant? If the answer is yes just head down to Namuang Waterfall where you can find the elephant camp at Namuang Safari Park.The ride lasts app. 30 minutes and costs about 500-700 Baht. |
